Visit to Agrisera facility in Umeå

Participants of the Plant energy management, molecular mechanisms and signalling conference, visited Agrisera's facility in Umeå. Principal Investigators, PostDocs and PhD students joined the tour on the 28th of August. Our visitors were from Columbia, India, France, Greece, Germany, Korea, Spain and Sweden.
 
Many interesting questions were asked regarding antibody production, purification and validation. 

We eagerly shared our knowledge and are hoping for future collaborations!

Four new species added to Search by species page

Four new species have been added to Agrisera's Search by species function, namely:

Camelina sativa
Colobanthus quitensis
Panicum sp.
Raphanus sativus

This resource now lists 40 different species, ranging from higher plants, to mosses, algae and cyanobacteria, and offers a quick and easy way to find antibodies reactive in your species of interest.

Remember that you can also filter the lists of primary antibodies, in any product category on our website, by reactivity, applications and clonality.

Use anti-BirA (mutated/TurboID) antibodies for identification of protein-protein interactions

Tagging a protein with TurboID allows the study of protein interactions in different types of cells and organs, as well as different developmental stages. This is a suitable tool for proximity labelling experiments, as described in Mair et al. (2019).
