Immunogen: N-terminal peptide conjugated to MAP (Multiple Antigenc Peptide) Sub class: IgG2a Host: Mouse Clonality: Monoclonal Format: Protein G purified immunoglobulin in PBS pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.05 % sodium azide Quantity: 100 µg Storage: Store at -20°C. Make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes. Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Immunoflourescence (IF), Western blot (WB) Recommended dilution: 1: 1000 (ELISA), (WB) Expected | apparent MW: 57 kDa - Reactivity
-
Confirmed reactivity: Schizosaccharomyces pombe Not reactive in: No confirmed exceptions from predicted reactivity known at the moment. - Additional Information
-
Additional information (application): This antibody recognized yeast PS overexpressed in Arabidopsis thaliana. - Background
-
Background: Together with gamma –glutamyl Cys sythetase (γ-ECS) and glutathione synthetase, phytochelatin synthetase (PS), is an enzyme involved in, and required for, synthetizing phytochelatins (PC). In certain plants, deficiency of such enzymes leads to low tolerance to metal contamination while mutants over-expressing them are highly tolerant to metal contamination and may be used in phyto-remediation of heavy metals. - Product Citations
