Additional information: The antibody 9E10 can be used to detect the c-Myc tag - Background
-
Background: c-Myc is derived from Myc proto-oncogene protein. The c-Myc protein is a transcription factor (nuclear localization). c-Myc is commonly activated in a variety of tumor cells and plays an important role in cellular proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and cell cycle progression. A short peptide was used as an epitope tag, that is easily recognized by tag specific antibodies. This is a universal detection reagent which will allow detection of any c-Myc tag containing protein. - Protocols
