Immunogen: Purified Rat IgG, whole molecule
Host: Goat Clonality: Polyclonal Purity: Immunogen affinity purified goat IgG. Format: Lyophilized Quantity: 1 mg Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 1.1 ml of sterile water. Let it stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. Centrifuge to remove any particulates. Prepare fresh working dilutions daily Storage: Store non-diluted antibody at 2-8°C. For storage at -20°C dilute antibody solution with an equal volume of glycerol to obtain final glycerol concentration of 50 % to prevent loss of enzymatic activity. Such solution will not freeze in -20°C. If you are using a 1:5000 dilution prior to diluting with glycerol, then you would need to use a 1:2500 dilution after adding glycerol. Prepare working dilution prior to use and then discard, Be sure to mix well but without foaming. Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western blot (WB) Recommended dilution: 1 : 10 000 -1 : 50 000 (ELISA), 1 : 500 -1 : 5000 (IHC), 1 : 10 000 -1 : 50 000 (WB) - Reactivity
-
Confirmed reactivity: Rat IgG heavy and light chains (H&L) of all Rat immunoglobulins Predicted reactivity: Rat IgG Heavy and Light chains (H&L) of all Rat immunoglobulins Not reactive in: No confirmed exceptions from predicted reactivity are currently known - Additional Information
-
Additional information: HRP-conjugate is supplied in 10 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, 10 % (w/v) BSA, Protease/IgG free
0.1 % (v/v) of Kathon CG is used as preservative.
Additional information (application): No reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin rat serum, Antibody has been absorbed against mouse IgG and no reactivity is observed to human or mouse IgG based on immunoelectrophoresis - Background
-
Background: Goat anti-rat IgG is a secondary antibody conjugated to HRP which binds to all rabbit IgGs in immunological assays.

Elena Makoveichuk | 2013-03-28We have bought the goat-a-rat-HRP conjugated AB (cat. nr AS09618) from ''Agrisera''. We are very happy with this AB, because it does not interact with mouse IgG, like the other secondary ABs (from different species) that we had tried before.
