Immunogen: Highly purified fluorescein isothiocyanate isomer 1 Host: Mouse Clonality: Monoclonal Purity: Purified IgG.1 in PBS pH 7.2, HRP conjugated. Format: Lyophilized Quantity: 200 µg Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 0.5 ml of sterile water Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube. Stort time storage at +4°C. Tested applications: ELISA (ELISA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) paraffin, Dot blot (Dot), Western blot (WB) Recommended dilution: The optimum working dilution should be determined by titration by end user.
1:500 (ELISA), 1:50 to 1:200 (ICC, IHC), 1: 1000 (WB). - Reactivity

Additional information: This product is intended FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY.
Peroxidase/IgG protein molar ratio (E/P) approximately 1.7.Additional information (application): This product has not been tested for cross-reactivity with other fluorescent compounds - Background
-
Background: FITC is a fluorochrome dye that absorbs ultraviolet or blue light causing molecules to become excited and emit a visible yellow-green light. This emission ceases upon removal of the light causing the excitation. FITC antibody is used to enhance the specific signal from a monoclonal antibody or a secondary antibody conjugated to FITC. The sensitivity of the FITC hapten-anti-hapten system makes it a useful alternative to other systems.
