    Predicted reactivity: Populus trichocarpa
    Not reactive in: Medicago truncatula
  • Additional Information
  • Additional information (application): Western blot condtions for anti-EIN3 antibodies are described in Smalle et al. 2002.
Recommended membrane for blocking: nitrocellulose, blocking reagent: 10 % non-fat milk, antibody incubation buffer: PBS-T.
  • Background
  • Background: EIN3 (Ethylene insensitive 3) acts as a positive regulator in the ethylene response pathway and is required for ethylene responsiveness in adult plant tissues. Activated by phosphorylation by MPK3 and MPK6 (PubMed:18273012). Down-regulated by KIN10 that controls its protein stability under a phosphorylation-dependent manner.

Alternative names: Protein ethylene insensitive 3.
