Immunogen: Full-length recombinant DnaK2 protein derived from Synechocystis PCC 6803 DnaK2 protein sequence UniProt: P22358
Host: Rabbit Clonality: Polyclonal Purity: Serum Format: Lyophilized Quantity: 200 µl Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 200 µl of sterile water Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube. Tested applications: Western blot (WB) Recommended dilution: 1 : 1000 (WB) Expected | apparent MW: 67.6 | 76 kDa - Reactivity

Application example
10 µg of total protein from total cell extract of Synechocystis PCC 6803 wilde type (WT) and mutant strain that lacks Hsp16.6 were separated on 8 % gel and blotted on nitrocellulose membrane. Filters were blocked (1h), incubated with 1:1000 anti-DnaK2 antibodies (2h) followed by incubation with 1: 2500 secondary anti-rabbit (1h) coupled to HRP and visualization with chemiluminescent detection reagent, exposure time was 10 seconds.

Additional information: This product can be sold containing proclin if requested
- Background
-
Background: DnaK2 belongs to the family of heat shock proteins 70 and functions as a chaperone involved in stress response. Dnak2 is heat induced but also present at high level under normal growth conditions.
