Application example
Varied amounts of mouse brain tissue lysate: 10 µg/lane (1), 5 µg/lane (2), 2.5/lane µg (3), 1.25 µg/lane (4) were extracted and separated on SDS-PAGE and blotted to a membrane. Primary antibodies were used at a dilution of 1: 4000 (0.25 µg/ml). Reaction was developed by chemiluminescence.
- Additional Information
-
Additional information: 10mM PBS, pH 7,2, with 1% BSA and 0,05% sodium azide Additional information (application): This antibody recognizes both the native and denatured forms of Beta-tubulin - Background
-
Background: Beta-tubulin is a conserved protein involved in cell motility, structure and integrity, tissue development and the development of organism. Tubulin is expressed at high levels in almost all tissues and cell lines. This makes it ideal to use as a loading control in Western blot. - Reviews:
