Aflatoxin M1 | ELISA quantitation kit
AS20 4394 | Reactivity: Aflatoxin M1
- Data sheet

Background: This ELISA assay utilizes the principle of competitive binding to measure the concentration of Aflatoxin M1 in analyzed samples. The anti-Aflatoxin M1 antibody has been pre-coated on the surface of the reaction wells. Samples, containing an unknown amount of Aflatoxin M1, or standards are added to the appropriate plate wells together with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated Aflatoxin M1. During incubation, the competitive inhibition reaction occurs between (HRP) conjugated Aflatoxin M1 and Aflatoxin M1 in standards and samples. Substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Aflatoxin M1 in the sample or standards. Reaction is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.
