Background: Aflatoxins are naturally occurring mycotoxins that are produced by many species of Aspergillus. Aflatoxins are toxic and among the most carcinogenic substances known. Crops which are frequently affected by Asperiillus include cereals (maize, sorghum, pearl millet, rice, wheat), oilseeds (peanut, soybean, sunflower, cotton), spices (chile peppers, black pepper, coriander, turmeric, ginger), and tree nuts (almond, pistachio, walnut, coconut, brazil nut). - Protocols

| 2014-05-05Aflatoxin M1, Total IgG works well than we expected to detect Aflatoxin M1 in milk. Given that it is only total IgG with a fraction of it to M1, the affinity of the antibody must be very high. It is suitable for ELISA-based assay.
